YesStyle's New Officially Launched Website: YesWalker!

Hello everyone!

I would like to introduce to you YesStyle's new website, YesWalker! Officially launched September 10th, 2012.

It is a online shop dedicated to shoes and bags, two of girl's best friends. YesStyle contacted me and asked if they could send me a pair of shoes as a gift. As well as, give a review about the shoes. I took up on it because a girl honestly can't have too many shoes. Don't you agree?

Woven Bow Flats
http://www.yeswalker.com/woven-bow-flats/info.html/pid.1030931700

First thoughts out of the box, I immediately thought they were simple and sophisticated. I love the fact that the shoes are beige and the gold detailing on the bow is just perfect. I believe these shoes fit well with any time of clothing, wether it is casual, dressy, or business. I also thought that the woven pattern on the flats just gave it a bit more style and made it less simple.

Did i mention it has a cushioned footbed? Most flats, I realize tend to not be comfortable. There is not much cushion in the footbed, but these are just great and feel great while walking. However, one thing I find an issue with flats is the back part tend to always cut the back of my heels. It usually goes away after "breaking in" the shoes, but I find that a bit of a nuance. As a result, I always end up wearing band-aids just to protect the back of my heels, just in case.

I must say, I am extremely happy with these flats. I actually wore these flats in one of my Back to School Outfit videos. Posted below. Doesn't it just complete the outfit?

Looking through the website, I see a variety of selections, from flats, wedges, heels, bags, and much more! It is definitely shoe and bag heaven. The prices are quite reasonable as well, which makes it even easier to be stylish while under a budget.

I hope you enjoy this post, if you would like me to do more blog posts like this or any other requests, please let me know.

Have a lovely day!

Back to School

Hello my lovely readers!

I hope everyone is having an amazing week. As many may know it is that time again...BACK TO SCHOOl time! If you are in middle school, high school, or even college you know after summer, you will eventually have to head back. However, do not fear school does not have to be boring! You can always add a bit of excitement in the dull drape feeling of some schools leave.

How exactly can you make your school experience a lot better? Well, first of dress up! The reason is I believe that if you take a bit of time and effort to choose out your own clothes it will make you feel a lot better when you are at school. When you look good, you feel good, and that is one way to help make your overall atmosphere at school a lot more pleasurable.

Here are two outfits I wore this week for my "Back to School," I hope if gives you tons of ideas!

YesStyle Meetup Event

YesStyle held their first ever meetup in San Francisco. The meet up was for YesStyle lovers whom often frequent their San Francisco in-store location and as well who love the company as a whole.

For those who do not know what YesStyle is, YesStyle first started off as an online retailer bring Asian Fashion to the masses. They carry a variety of brands from Korea, China, and Japan. As well as a number of different styles, fitting any personal style an individual may have. They do not just sell clothing, but as well as a large collection of shoes, hand bangs, and accessories.

I had the opportunity to attend their first ever meetup and was able to meet the CEOs behind this amazing company. I was joined by 20+ other YesStyle fans for a luncheon and to give feedback to the CEOs on how they can improve YesStyle.

A photo of my lovely friends and I with Ceos Joshua K. Lau (left) and Priscilla Chu (right). They were extremely nice and grateful for all of us to be there. They accepted all of our feedback with open hearts. It was nice to see heads of companies just so willing to connect with their customers and it makes me feel great to support a company like this.

They started off the meet with a contest. A giftcard was taped under one of our chairs and who ever feels it wins a $50 gift card to YesStyle. And guess what? I was the lucky winner!!!!

My friend Kimberly won a pair of arm warmers! They defintely came in handy with the cold San Francisco weather!

My friend Rebeccca (Projectdivine101 on youtube) won a sweater dress!

Announcing the last contest winner!

YesStyle gave everyone goodie bags to take home! :D

Since it was a lunch, I had to show a photo of food right? The green tea desserts were the best!!!

My friends Rebecca (youtube.com/projectdivine101) and Kimberly.

After the event there was another event in-store! We all decided to head there to see if we could find any goodies! :]

And of course I did! I love the shopping bag they give you. So clean and very high quality.

You will definitely see these items in an upcoming video and post! :D

And lastly a photo of the goodie bag we all received!

I want to close off this blog post with a thank you to the CEOs and all the staff of YesStyle whom set up this meetup. It was honestly a great event. The staff were extremely kind and just made everyone feel ever so welcome. The CEOs were no different. They flew all the way from Hong Kong and they find time in their busy schedules to fit us, the customers into their lives.

I would say their first meetup was a success and they have told us there will be plenty more to come. If you get a chance to ever attend one of their future meetups do not miss it! You will definitely get a new perspective and meet amazing people.

Once again thank you YesStyle and thank you for making me a shopaholic!

Love,
Wenjin

Lookbook: Inspired by Kim Hyuna and Stylenanda

Hello my lovely readers.

I thought to myself, how exactly can I bring fashion to all of you in a different way than I normally do. That is when I came up with the idea to do lookbooks inspired by certain celebrities. I will be doing lookbooks from time to time inspired by celebrities (idols, actors, models, and etc).

You can leave me a request on my facebook, so go over and leave one! :]

My first lookbook was inspired by Kim Hyuna of the korean girl group 4minute and Park Sora of Stylenanda.

I did a total of 4 outfits, I wanted to do more outfits, but one of the dresses I wanted to show had a malfunctioning zipper (it would of been perfect). The outfits I came up with are inspiration from either music videos or pictures. They are not the exactly clothing they wore but very similar.

Outfit #1:

Dress - YesStyle, Wedges - H&M

Outfit #2:

Dress - Forever 21, Pink Heels - G-Market

Outfit #3:

Black Tunic - Forever 21, High Waisted Jean Shorts - Ebay, Shoes - G-Market

Outfit #4:

Studded Blouse - Ebay (I studded myself), Destroyed Jean Shorts - G-market, Studded Headband - Ebay, Sneaker Wedges - Ebay

Watch the lookbook here:

I hope to do more lookbooks in the future. Stay tune!

Have a lovely day everyone

- Wenjin

Review: Neo Extra Size Dali Gray

I have seen a number of ulzzangs wearing these particular circle lenses and I have been on a hunt for them for awhile. I was finally able to find a website that had them in stock.

Brand: NEO
Origin: South Korea
Water content: 45%
Diameter: 14.2 mm
Base Curve: 8.6
Duration: 1 year

Rate:
Design: ★★★★★
I love the design because it isn't pixilated and it very smooth meaning it creates a natural look.
Color: ★★★★☆
They are not as bright as the Neo Glamour Grays. This could be a good or bad thing for you. I think the color is perfect for a natural pair of lenses.
Enlargement:★★☆☆☆
There is a slight enlargement (due to the brown ring around the lens), but not that much. I don't mind that. I honestly like the fact it doesn't change the look of my eye size. If you want they dolly look, I wouldn't recommend these for you.
Comfort: ★★★★★
Of course it is Neo! No complaints about comfort. However, carry eyedrops just in case you wear these lenses for over 6 hours. :]

Overall:
I really love these lenses. They are natural and yet eye catching. They are perfect for those who just want to change their eye color and give their makeup a bit of a pop.
